The focus of the talk was around the demands modern delivery methods such as continuous deployment create for all aspects of software testing. And for those that consider themselves as Software Engineers in Test much of the talk revolved around pragmatic estimations, cross functional working and collaboration with team members. For hiring managers finding the right balance in their team between software testing technical skills and a testers curious, creative and destructive mindset is a key driver when looking to embed quality into a product or application.
