Agiltima co-founder John Reber was invited to present at the Tricentis event ‘Accelerate 2019’ at the Marx Halle in Vienna. John shared his experience of Continuous Delivery, Continuous Testing and the challenges facing Software Developer Engineers in Test aswell as the increasing importance of exploratory and usability testing. With attendees from across the globe and all sectors, the event was an opportunity for Agiltima to talk to our peers across the industry…
The Tricentis event was perhaps the largest, most professional industry event we have attended to date. A full 2 day agenda included many talks on the Tricentis suite of tools including ‘Tosca’, ‘qTest’ and ‘Flood’. There were also many fantastic non-sponsored talks covering areas such as continuous testing, digital transformations, contract testing versus unit testing and our absolute favourite by Alexandru Cusmaru from Siemens on ‘Why Sherlock Holmes would make a great tester’.
Stands and booths included Accenture’s fairground ‘spin the wheel’, Gartners review section, a ‘Tosca’ assault course and a virtual reality competition (Agiltima came fourth! we nearly won the Oculus).
With a grand opening featuring drummers and high wire trapeze artists, two after parties and a closing party that included dancing waiters it’s safe to say Agiltima will be attending again in the future.
